We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at my parents’ home! There aren’t any people I’d rather be with than my amazing family. We were very entertained by Scarlett, Juliette, and Madeline this year! The food was terrific, but the company was even better!
Gary, me, Jesse, Amber, Gabe, Hannah, Mike, Bethany, Christa, Brandon, Daniel, Emily, my sisters Laurie and Diane, my nieces Shalene and Rachel, and my nephew Michael, and Greg Fisher, Greg Moon, and Jacklyn all went downtown to run the Turkey Trot, a 6.2 mile run before the Parade. It was SO MUCH FUN! The weather was the best in four years. The run was long enough to be challenging, and short enough to stay FUN!
We had a great time learning about Alzheimer’s Disease at the Ritz Carlton in Dearborn, then going to Rachel’s Sweet 16 Birthday Party. If any one is SWEET 16, it’s RACHEL!!!!
Jesse and Amber and Gary and I went to Joey and Katie’s wedding at Inn of St. John’s in Plymouth. It was a beautiful wedding. it was wonderful to see all of Gary’s family – we rarely get to see them and they are such special people!
It has been amazing seeing Mike and Bethany’s new home transforming before our eyes! It certainly promises to be amazing! And now my AMAZING cousin is going to do the hardwood floors — he is a MASTER at doing them — this is getting exciting!
I LOVE my little brother! He has been helping me the last two days at Bethany and Mike’s new house. He got MORE WORK DONE in two days than most people finish in a WEEK! We went to the circus tonight. It was very entertaining and we had a great time together! Missed Jesse and Amber this year — they were out of town!
Started out with a breakfast meeting where Gary hilariously opened the meeting with a group of leaders all dressed up as members of a band. Gary was well trained for his “lead singer” role with his Resume sporting Psalty and a few solos several years back! Then we headed out to Epcot for awhile. We had a fantastic day. We no sooner got all the senior pictures taken when it started POURING DOWN RAIN! We were glad we finished in time! Then we headed to the outlet malls to see what we could see… Then to a special dinner party for Gary’s work. They had a very special fireworks show!
