Contentment! What a beautiful word! We all strive to be content, satisfied, and just at peace with what we already have or what we are going through!!!
These verses remind us “we brought nothing into this world and we can take nothing out of it.” Everything good we have is a gift from above!
Only Christ Himself can FILL the deep void we all have within us!
Not stuff,
not being married or being in a relationship,
not having children,
not being pain or disease free,
nothing from this world can bring contentment! Only momentary happiness!
Only Christ can fill us to overflowing!
“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content
whatever the circumstances.“ Philippians 4: 11
We can be at Peace with whatever we are going through,
we can have His Joy whether we have a little or a lot,
we always have His Hope of better things to come, and
through Him we have contentment with where we are in His Plan!
Father God, we Thank You for this reminder! We Thank You that we CAN be at Peace in this world! Help us not to center on worldly things that will ROB us of our Joy and Contentment! May we turn to SEE Your Face and all You have to offer us! Thank You for providing us with an Amazing future!!
