“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?” Jeremiah 12: 5
It is NO SURPRISE that we WILL have trouble in this world! This passage is very clear that on our own, we will be worn out, we will stumble, we willhave trouble competing and managing ourselves! We can not fight the good fight on our own!!
WE WILL FAIL MISERABLY!!!
But, our Lord doesn’t leave us to fight the evils of this world on our own!
He reassures us that He is WITH us!!!
Strengthening us!!!
Upholding and Restoring us!!!
“Though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with His Hand.”
Psalm 37: 24
I LOVE the following verse;
“Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, You WILL RESTORE my life again; from the DEPTHS of the earth You will again BRING ME UP.” Psalm 71: 20
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73: 26
“In this world you will have trouble. But, take heart! I have OVERCOME the world.”
John 16: 33
Thank You Father, for reminding us of the Strength we have in You!!! You offer to take our heavy yoke and give us Your light one!! It would be foolish for us to refuse such an offer! Thank You for taking care of our burdens! What a gift!! Thank You!
We all are (or have or will be) suffering one way or another in this world and we thank You Father that there WILL BE AN END!!! We can, also, Trust You to use whatever may be causing us to stumble, or be distracted, for Your Good!!!
